Time Bank
Time Bank is a way of giving and receiving help and support in the local community. There are 300 Time Banks across the UK with 2 million members.
Everyone has skills, knowledge and experience to share and Time Banking is about offering them to help others at a level that can be reasonably expected from a friend or neighbour.
Members offer skills and spare time to help others. In return they can receive any help or support they would like, or can learn new skills. Time credits can then be spent on anything they would like from the ‘bank’ of skills available Time Banking is a great way to be part of the community, whilst offering skills or spare time to help others.
